Message subject : PER , what is it really ??
This message was posted by john on April 13, 2000 :
I'm confused as to what the PER represents. I'm told it is the time (in years) it would take to repay the price of 1 share in a particular company, others say that PER is a measure of a companies future earning potential...still others say that if a company has a high PER it's not worth investing in....STILL OTHERS say that a company with a low PER is not worth investing in as there is potential that there is something wrong with the company........STILL OTHERS***@@####......help will be appriciated
