I am planning on putting one Linux Server in one of the branch offices. This server should be accessible from the headquater (via telnet). The branch office is connected to the internet by using Cisco 2500 router (through a leased line connect to a well know ISP). This router has one public IP address, and the workstations in the branch office have private IPs. The router translates all the private IPs into one public IP address when its make the connection to the internet. I would like to know if it is possible to make the Linux server in the branch office accessible for the Headquater through the router? If yes, how does it work?
